So Is Christmas in July finally OVER?

I noticed regular programing this morning.... I never turned on the channel yesterday. Is IT over?

Thank goodness.  When I see these shows, all I can think is that Q is helping Chinese employment in a big way.

You can see the upcoming shows listed in the program guide.  It's on the main page.

I posted this in another forum, but will reply.  I looked at the program guide and according to that, there is another weekend on July 14, 15, 16, not unless they change it.

No, it is Q customers that make purchases of what Q offers that "is helping Chinese employment in a big way".

Re: So Is Christmas in July finally OVER?

Kind of related, but veering off just a little...... today the Fitbit is the TSV.  Now I'm not interested in a Fitbit as I have one.

But they have 6 HOURS of programming dedicated to one product.  Infomercial time.  So for those of us who aren't interested in a Fitbit, that's 6 hours where QVC management has no hope of me watching at all.  I won't even take a quick peek.  On to other channels and other activities.  That's a heck of a lot of time in a 24 hour day to lose a viewer.

Because they overkill the products, whatever the product is.  Today it's Fitbit.  It could be yet another bed, the My Pillow, the $400 blender, a computer, the Dyson, Philosophy, Dooney and Bourke.  Their presentations on all products are too long.  They really over saturate us with one product (or a handful).

I have a very short attention span as I get older.  I know after about 1-2 minutes whether I'm interested in a product.  I really don't need longer than that.  Let alone an entire hour on one item.

So back to Christmas in July.  They do over saturate with that also.  They used to have it on July 25th.  I think people would find that reasonable.  But this year it started on the 1st and it's off to the races.

I don't mind at all that they have it, it's just the over push on it and the other products they show repeatedly that turn me off.

They wouldn't need 3 channels to get their products shown and move their inventory if they would just show more variety and SHORTEN the presentations on everything.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I ddn't realize yesterday was CIJ until almost 10 last night.  I found a couple things I wanted by reviewing the day.

I am not a CIJ fan, but many are, it is just hard to think about Christmas with it being 90 degrees plus humidity outside!  I rather think of Fall decor and cooler weather!Smiley Happy
