There was a tattoo convention at a local casino starting this past Thursday, and for the longest time, I had been wanting a certain tattoo, a photo realistic lion. So I got in contact with one of the businesses who was going to be at the convention, (Ventura Tattoo and Piercing, from Ventura, Calif.), and sent him a photo that I liked. The gentleman who inked me has been in the business for at least 20 years.
We set up an appointment, and when I got to the convention, he showed me the lion in three different sizes, small, medium, and large. I chose the medium.
He started inking me at 12:30, and with breaks included, he finished up at 8:30.
I have two other tats, a butterfly on my shoulder, and a roses on my upper left arm.
Those two didn't hurt at all.
This one, on the other hand, OMG!!!!! I would've given up any and all state secrets, if I had any! I was cursing under my breath, clutching the mat that I was laying on, pulling my hair, and making all kinds of sounds. Also, my leg was inadvertently twitching. This one was, by far, the most painful tat that I've had done. You know how people say to breathe through the pain? I tried that. Yeah, it didn't work. There were times when I thought about quitting, but, I knew that if I did, I would then be walking around with a partially done tat, and I didn't want that. So, I stuck it out.
During one of the breaks, I went to a $0.25 slot machine, put in my $20.00, played max bet, and on the third pull, I won $100.00!!!
The tat is on my right calf. Everyone that I have shown it to, remarks on how good it is, and more importantly, I LOVE it!!! Yeah, yeah, I know. Having tats makes me a "tramp".
So, here's my tat! Enjoy! Sorry it's so big and on it's side!

It's a tramp stamp only if it's on the base on your back.

Hey "tramp", I'm glad you love your tat. It's your body, so enjoy. Me, I'm chicken! Just kidding about the tramp part. A friend of mine has so many now that it's hard to tell where one ends and another begin ... that's when you have too many.

Can't see the picture in your post but it sounds cool. Glad you are happy with it.

I am too skeered to get a tat!

Your tattoo looks like a little blue box with a question mark in it to me, not a lion.
Oh well, I am going to the eye doctor tomorrow--maybe I should mention this to her!

I'm sorry! I don't know what happened! It's showing up for me.
Major apologies!
