Well a guy just left after plowing out my driveway, that's a relief ! We got 13 inches of heavy , wet snow, with a little sleet mixed in. Now it's in the 40's and it's a big sloppy mess. It did look pretty first thing this morning. Winter is here. ☃️⛄️

Yikes ! thought I had it bad back on Mon with few inches and temps in the teens. It was gone by Tues. We got out on Wed and did our usual Mon stuff

In 50's now, but, this is Tx.

I'd never live in the Northeast. Pretty as all get out, but, nope.

I'd never live in Cal either or by any ocean. New England is great in the Fall

to cold not a place for old people LOL

Not any place is perfect never gonna be.  Tx. is hot, dry not great either LOL

We got 4" of snow.

Today, 40 mph wind blew all the snow off the cars & the sun melted the rest.

All I can say is thank you Q for Frost Guard because all the car windows in the p/l are covered in ice even though it's suppose to be 50° out side.  Windchill factor 20°.

Oh my goodness, I can't talk about the snow!!! I work in metro NY area. Yesterday's forecast called for a dusting turning to rain, and it ended up being 5 inches.

And it took me 3 hours to get home!!! I think the distance is 30 miles. I went 5 mph the whole way. JUST HORRIBLE!

@SharkE, snow can be a pita, but I don't do well in the heat, so in the frozen north I will stay. LOL.

I've read where the South of France is just this side of heaven. Tina Turner and lots of movie stars live there.

@QVCkitty1, despite my complaints about the traffic, I agree with you.

I much prefer cold over heat.

I could never live in a hot climate.

Either gonna have high a/c bills or home heating costs thru the roof

We can't win ! We got to old to cut down trees and haul in wood, split the logs, and take out the ashes. Keeping a wood burning furnace running.

Husband fell on the ice and busted hip. Mail couldn't get thru for days on end on and on like that.

We had to head to the Southwest. Now we can heat home for 100-150 a month and don't have to work our rumps off. Put on cuddle duds and watch the thermostat.

No she does not.  Tina has a villa in the SOF.

Tina has lived in Switzerland for 20+ yrs & is actually a citizen of same as she gave up her American citizenship.

Being a native Californian, and terrified of snow, I watched in horror today all that snow on the east coast/east.

What really shocked me was to see a poor CAMEL walking around some street in the snow with all the cars around him. Now that is something you dont see everyday!
