@SilleeMee

Just watched the weather report: possible snow tonight and tomorrow night.

It’s never gonna stop is it? lol

I know! But we need the precip so badly. It has been lightly raining here for most of the afternoon and they say it will continue all night. I'm happy with that. Save money on my water bill. My trees need a lot of watering and I just hate to see my water bill when I have to water the trees!

More snow for your area?? What's your elevation?

I'm at 7,500.

I’m in North Woodmoor, (Palmer Divide area) and it’s one of the only East-to-West mountain ranges in Colorado and for that reason we get more snow than most other surrounding areas. While towns below us may get little to no snow, The Palmer Divide area will get several inches and it sticks. Lol

Seriously, do you know why though an East/West mountain will get more snow?

I shall now drink copious amounts of Friuli Grappa.

No worries, I’m not driving or going anywhere..

Oh yes, I know about the Palmer Divide area. The reason why that location can get more snow than neighboring areas is because of the upsloping northerly winds cause bigger snowfalls. That's just a weather phenomenon dependent on the geography of a region.

Thank You dear woman for explaining this to me.

It’s so weird up here: It can be snowing up here and down in let’s say Monument nothing.

Thank You sweet pea. Too big though: Our home is just a tad under 6,000. A lot of cleaning and I’m the maid!

Wanna come over and drink some Grappa?

That's huge! My house could probably fit inside your garage...lol!

I don't drink but it would be nice to see your house. You could give me a tour and then I be stuck there from all the snow...lol!

It really is too big. There are rooms and bathrooms I only go in to clean.  Bought it to house all the children and grandchildren when then they come to visit. Only, they are all so busy with their lives (even before the pandemic) it’s just a big house to clean. Ain’t I got fun.

You don’t have to drink, I’ll drink for you. I’m good like that.

Guess what started to come down a few minutes ago? It is melting on contact however the temp is dropping.

Off topic, but the Thunderbirds are here.

They’re practicing their fly-over today. Gonna get loud at your house.
