I can't understand why some would love to see Jodi Arias get the death penalty but this guy should be in a hospital. Are they not both insane in some way.

Apparently that is the case. I do not believe he qualifies as having PTSD and neither did the jurors who heard all the evidence in this case. The jurors come across as intelligent, played attention to all the evidence and made their judgement..

The visceral reaction to the verdict probably has something to do with the disdain for those that were killed.

Evil??? Seriously? How exactly do you define that? He had and still has mental illness. He belongs in a maximum security mental facility, not in a prison with the general prison population.
I think you must understand God's love in order to understand satan's evil. According to God's word a mind can become reprobate by practicing and promoting evil. Every evil act starts with an evil thought. He tells us to dwell on things that are good and not on things that are evil. People need to be taught how to control their thought life.
Kindly spare me your proselytizing. And don't tell me what I must understand or make assumptions about my beliefs. Keep your satan and leave me out of it. Tacking the word evil on what isn't understood is my point.

That about wraps it up on Viewpoints. Many posters feel that they are always in sole possession of the correct answers, so if people disagree it's because they just don't get it or else they put their faith in a news network that hypnotizes them into their way of thinking.

Wrong again, as usual.

Oh, but it was okay for someone to say "she never met a criminal she wouldn't back?"

If I understand your thought process correctly, in essence you're saying Chris Kyle was evil, as well. Professional or not. Good guys or bad guys. A death is a death....he ended the lives of 160 people. Evil is evil, right? In my mind...no, the INTENT behind the trigger is different. Controlling your "thought life" is different for everyone.....thinking & doing are two different things.

If you ever read OR and her opinion of criminals you would understand where I am coming from...if not no skin off my nose.
