This picture is posted in reference to yesterday's discussion

of snake jewelry.  These are my snake rings stacked up on my

pinky finger. They no longer fit my ring finger, due to arthritis enlarged knuckle. The lighting was not the best, so the channel

set rubies appear to be darker than their actual bright red color.

The blue sapphires on the other ring look darker in this picture also.

Years ago, Zsa Zsa Gabor was a guest on the Johnny Carson show and spoke of her many marriages. With all her diamond rings, she said that she had a "Diamond Shish Kebab".

So, I thought of taking a picture and posting my "Snake Shish Kebab".

@Enufstuff.  Very nice.  I like snake rings as the snake is such a graceful creature.  It's also a very old, historic motif for jewelry.

I prefer the middle one.

@Enufstuff  Your Snake Shish Kebab made my day 🤗💯🐍! Thank you so much for the photo of your gorgeous collection of snake rings!  These are absolutely stunning- love the weight and shine of the gold.  Beautiful inset rubies, diamonds and sapphires- and the ruby eyes! Fabulous textured scales and I love the curves of the snakes.  Yes indeed- this is a stunning trio of fancy gold and gemstone snakes! Zsa Zsa Gabor would've loved your snake shish kebab! Where did you get these beautiful rings, Enuffstuff? Cute little pinky finger by the way 💗.

@Enufstuff - I love the one on the left of the photo, with the sapphires!  All three are beautiful, but that would be my favorite.

@shoesnbags  I love all things Egyptian and Cleopatra. I have three of the old Cleopatra movies on video and a few books

about Cleopatra. Her headress had the Royal Cobra.

My living room has a lot of Egyptian decor.

I have art and jewelry with the image of Cleopatra and I dressed as her for a couple of Halloween parties, years ago.

Sadly, she died from the bite of an asp.

@Venezia   I love the two LeVian rings with the gemstones and diamonds. The one with the sapphires is my favorite also.

@Enufstuff.  Have you seen pictures of the new Egyptian museum?  It might be the most fabulous museum in the world, just unbelievable exhibits.

I'd give anything to visit in person but that ship has sailed for me.

@SportyShorty07   The two LeVian rings I purchased back in the early 90's at Filene's which was a lovely department store near where I live. Filene's also had a store in Boston.

They are a size five and fit my ring finger when I got them, before arthritis enlarged my knuckles. I've had my wedding ring sized up twice.

Filene's had the best of everything. My youngest daughter got her wedding gown at the Boston store. Filene's and Lord & Taylor were my favorite stores, both gone now. Smiley Sad

I don't really remember where I bought the plain gold ring. I've bought so many rings over the years, many from QVC and local jewelers. I've given many away to my girls and still have a ring box full, probably about fifty rings left. Maybe I'll give them each another ring for this Mother's Day.

Sometimes I'll take several rings from the box and let them each choose the one they want. There are four girls, my three daughters and daughter in law. I've given a few to my two grand daughters and three great grand daughters.
