It is so smokey here in Reno that schools were closed today.  It looks like fog.  You can smell the fire too.  The fires are in Calif.  My friend said even Tahoe is affected.  It is bad

It's really bad. We're in Sparks.

I'm in the midwest and we have a constant haze of smoke here. I know it's worse for you since you're closer.

I didn't even know they closed schools today.   I was out for a bit, to  go to Raley's up in my area (I live on the West side) and another store, and the school zones were on, so I didn't imagine, but it seems like a good idea.

I'm sure glad I have masks.  I simply cannot breathe outside w/o a mask on.   Having asthma probably doesn't help.

I sure wish these fires could get under control soon.  So much loss.  Smiley Sad

It must be terrible being close to the fires.  It's often bad with the smoke from them here in the Albuquerque area.  I heard the big California fire has destroyed 500 homes.  I feel for all the area residents who have to view the terrible devastation for years to come.
