Slowwwww shipping

Why with the high cost of shipping does it take the q so long to ship items? I ordered the TSV on 12/27/10 the bear trap boots and it shows on tracking they are still down in Montgomery AL errrrrrrrr so no departure yet... how can zappos get you something in 2 days at times free shipping or reduced shipping and the q takes over a week? I prolly won't get them until Wednesday now..

I want my boots I got some new black jeans I wanna wear with them...... double errrrrrrrr

anybody else having slow shipping on this item?
