Slipping on floors...

My husky has arthritis. If she is getting up from concrete or carpeting, she has no problem. However on our hardwood floors she cannot get up and slips and slides all over and falls. Any suggestions? Paw wax didn't help.(I will probably end up throwing bath mats all around the house.) Thought I'd check to see if anyone had any other ideas.
