I agree. I actually think Meri might be on the verge of a breakdown when Mariah goes away to college. She seems to be very fragile. If Robyn gets pregnant again, then Meri will be totally alone unless she settles down and gets herself a job. But nooooooo, she'll start baby-sitting for Robyn again and the whole drama will begin all over again.

I really wonder how long this show is going to stay around. It had better pick up soon because I don't see anything in the future, except maybe something really catastrophic like a divorce/separation, or one of them leaving. To be continued.........................

Hey... the Psychic says she sees a 5th wife in the future this show could go on indefinitely.Cool

They need to do something, before they cancel it. Kody needs to get a hot 20 something year old.
I am surprised the psychic did not see the show going off the air! Now that I would believe!

They will hang on to the TLC cash cow with their bloody fingertips, until the whole thing implodes. They have to, because when the show is over, so are their houses and everything else they've gotten used to having. Look out Government, here they come.......again!

Also, I can't quite figure out why Mariah is insisting on attending Westminster College in SLC. I doubt very much she's going to find her polygamous husband there, as it is a predominantly Presbyterian school....not any type of Mormon affiliated in any way. Seem like a strange choice, to me anyway. How do I know???? I grew up there! She'd probably be better off as far as husband hunting is concerned to attend the U of Utah, or BYU, although polygamy is generally frowned on in Utah in general, as it is elsewhere.

Perhaps Kody will finally wear out?? In the meantime, Meri will continue to whine while she rattles around in the huge house she didn't need.......Boo-Hoo! Where on earth does TLC FIND these people they feature on a regular basis!!!

I watched this and it was boring! As I posted on the Polygamy USA thread elsewhere, Sister Wives and the Duggars are both shows that have run out of ideas and seem to have strayed from their original intent of the show. My take on both shows:

Sister Wives - no way you can tell me that there was ever any danger of them getting prosecuted in Utah for bigamy. The women all want to be there, they and the children are mainstream - the kids go to school, they all dress more to today's standards (just covered up more) and its apparent they aren't raising girls and marrying off minors to old men and then they have a lot of children. I think Las Vegas was all the brainchild of TLC and it'll all fall apart once there's no more storylines. Basically this is one married man with multiple baby mamas and a ton of kids - the other "marriages" were just commitment ceremonies.

Duggars - you can only show so many seasons of Michelle dropping another kid, handing it over to the daughters to homeschool/raise. And since there's not been a child born recently, its speculation on other boards that the last two children of the Duggars (one a preemie and one stillborn) that hopefully either this family has taken that as a sign that her birthin days are over or her body is no longer able to do so. So, now we are bored to tears with them travelling to different places - and making fools of themselves. Long ago I stopped watching this show bc Michelle's baby voice drives me crazy!

If they're interest only loans then they put no money down, only paying interest & nothing going toward principal, therefore no equity in the houses. Once the show's gone then what happens? I thought those kinds of loans were made illegal when the housing bust happened. That's how so many people got in trouble.

I agree that it was TLC's brainchild. They are going to have to come up with something new now because this show is a snoozefest.

As far as the Duggars, it seems they have been talking a lot about adopting. They have to do something to keep the money train going.

They should be what a dumb idea.

I think the talk about adopting is just another made up storyline. Another "board" says that they expect soon Anna will announce a pregnancy with a 4th child and that Jessa is "courting" so people are speculating that they'll push her engagement/marriage to keep the show going. Sorry even that's not enough to keep the gravy train flowing. Anna giving birth to a fourth child will be a handful because she's in DC with no family or help around so speculation is on Jessa. Speculation is that the Duggars need to begin to marry off some girls because the Bates are ahead on that score.
