One fall we were in Ligonier,Pa driving through Rolling Hills farm - enjoying driving down a tree lined lane with split rail fences(property owned by the Mellon family so uber wealth) and magnificent horses running around in the fields. The trees were in full fall colors. So beautiful and idyllic and peaceful. UNTIL, out of nowhere, a big deer jumped the fence and right over the hood of our car. We literally, only saw his underbelly as we went by. If we were going a fraction faster he would have been toast! Really spoiled the moment for sure, and got the adrenalin going.

Just got finished Skyping with one of our sons in Ann Arbor. He said it's 50 there. It's 81 here in Fla........ Wish we were there now.
