You read my mind ... I was wondering how she trained her brain to command her body to do those things ... absolutely amazing.   Then ... those strong thighs!

Her particular height, musculature and strength -- in addition to understanding where her body is in space --  are all gifts.  Her body type is ideal for gymnastics.  

I've read that gymnasts also make excellent pilots.  Why?  They have a feel for where they are in space.  Not everyone has that ability.  Couple it with a certain body style, and you have the possible makings of a gifted gymnast.

The women's final is on tonight on NBC. Nice to see some gymnastics on network primetime.

I felt so sad watching the clip of Simone talking about how USA Gymnastics failed her and all the other victims of Nassar. I watched the documentary on HBO, it was gut wrenching. Admire all those women very much.
