I have been watching all the track and field events and am loving it. Being a runner it's close to my interest and my son ran track in HS and college. My grandaughter (11) ran track this past year at her school.  

Simone is so beautiful, wickedly talented and does amazing gymnastic moves that just actually defy gravity!  I have marveled at the divers, swimmers and all the athletes for their unbelievable talent.

We are a total sports family and are thrilled to watch the upcoming Olympics!!

@Franklinbell  Oh yeah and I have a skateboarder in the family... my oldest son (35) and he has been skating with his friends since they were maybe 9.  To still watch him and his son  at the skatepark is just crazy.

Simone is a phenomenon! Her background is so interesting. She was raised by her Maternal grandfather and his wife (a beautiful story) and considers them her parents. But I can't help but wonder about her biologiccal parents. Where does that extraordinary talent come from?...I found nothing on the internet-

@Franklinbell  I used to skateboard in the late 1960's when it first became popular.  I was maybe 13.  I am 68 and tried to ride my son's board down the driveway.  I got halfway down and lost my balance and tipped over in the grass. We laughed so hard. Fortunately, I was ok but I don't think I will be trying that anymore. 

That's funny about the wheels in your garage 🤣
