My fur-baby Midnight has been sick since last week. I took him to the doctor on Monday. He has no fever, no lung congestion. It seems to be all nasal related. the doctor gave him two shots (penicillin and steroid) and said he had a cold. Well, by Thursday he sounded worse so I took him back and another doctor gave him liquid antibiotics to take for 10 days. I am now on day 5 of the oral meds. He is still having nasal congestion and is sneezing a lot. No problem with eating, drinking or using the litter box. In fact, he was kind of playful this morning.
Has anyone else had this type of problem with their fur-baby? Should I take him back before the 10 days of oral meds are up? The vet said they may have to look in deeper in his throat to see if there is an obstruction. I'm worried about him.
