Shuttle Discovery Final Flight

Watching the coverage of the flight to DC.

I've been lucky enough to see the shuttle (don't remember which specific shuttle vehicles) at both Carswell AFB and Offutt AFB on stops back to FL after landing in CA after a mission. So much more impressive in person than watching at home on TV.

Certainly a sight to behold the shuttle atop a 747.

Sad to see this era of the space program come to a close.

Amazing what NASA has accomplished in the past 40+ years.
