I recently got a coupon to use Shutterfly and thought I would give it a try. There were also many half-price deals. By the time I applied my coupon and the deal, I couldn't figure out how I really got a bargain, especially after the shipping. I cut back on my purchase because of the shipping. I know this is a popular site but I felt cheated when I did the math. Is there something I don't know about?

A few times I've ordered something that qualified for free shipping and also had a coupon code to apply.
Once I applied the coupon code, the total fell below the free shipping amount and the shipping was added back in so total went up.

So far, the number of times I've had any good luck with an online photograph site is never.
Although I carry my photos on my phone, there are members of my family who DO want paper copies so one of these days I'm going to have to figure out how to use the online sites.
About 5 years ago, there was a very good, very simple photo website supported by Kodak. It tanked, of course.

@violann I'm pretty sure you can take your phone to CVS or Walgreens and have the photos printed from your phone right there at the store.
Once you start to upload them from your phone to the computer and then to the store site, they lose quality.

Worth my time to give it a try @CelticCrafter! Thanks for the tip!

Interesting point about losing quality if downloaded to computer from phone and then ordered. I am technologically challenged and still working on downloading from phone to computer. However, I am able to order online from Walgreens site (after a bit of time and effort) and then I pick up at the store. I, too, enjoy paper copies of photoes and can share with others easily. I was using Shutterfly for a specialty item. At the Walgreens site I can sometimes find and use the ability to put miscellaneous borders on some photos. Again, I have to play awhile before I find it. It can be interesting.

I am not sure ,but I think QVC sells something that you can do it yourself. I think Dan was selling it.
Ask about it.
