I like the moderation. You can not have personal attacks.

That's because there's history there, I dunno about you, but I know a dig when I see it.

That is where the moderator comes in. We all see it through our own lense.

Yup.
And there are those who only want others to feel sorry for them, or to join them in their "righteous outrage", and when people don't, they cry "rude" and "bully", and go running crying to the mods.
They are the "victim", don't ya know?
It gets old.

If you are comfortable in your own skin, you don't need back up imo. There's nothing wrong with standing up for yourself or your beliefs, period.

You are 100% correct @Plaid Pants2, the usual subjects are the ones to get threads deleted when they start to whine and moan about "agendas", when this word appears then it won't be long before the thread goes bye bye. They do it on purpose!
Look what just happened with the Ellen thread, they couldn't stick to the subject but began to bash Ellen and her motives because they don't like her. It's really getting old!

If someone is comfortable in their own skin, they don’t feel the need to defend each and every perceived slight:/

The discussion could be about a cetain car then someone comes in and wrecks the thread because;
They don't like the sponsor.
The owner of said car company supports a group that they don't like.
They don't or won't buy the car because a particular actor with an agenda is in the car commercial.
