I don't like the deletion of threads, but there was a big stink asking for stricter moderation.

IMO Stricter moderation of troublemakers is very different than only allowing boring and meaningless discussions.

I can deal with troublemakers. What I can't deal with is stupidity or mediocrity.

@JillyMarie, just as troublemakers are in the eye of the beholder, so is stupidity or mediocrity.

Actually, a lot of the time.

I am sure you do 😊

And that is the "I" in my statement.

This is a corporate board, sponsored by QVC.  I think they are very tolerant of criticisms and questions.  I've even seen mods say they have forwarded complaints and questions.

Now, are they going to provide space to pick apart QVC hosts?  I don't think so, and I don't want to read it, either.

Mostly, I'm on board for when they shut down threads.  I think the board is much more civil now.  For the most part, it's a safe environment to post.

Well, then, @JillyMarie, you just do what you have to do to avoid the stupid and the mediocre. Enjoy that rarefied air.

Ok.

I edited and deleted my respose cause it's just not worth it.

I've seen enough evidence of such that yes, I certainly do.

After seeing some of the things that get deleted--and some of the things that don't--I truly believe that some of the mods here just flip a coin to decide what stays and what goes, because there is rarely any consistency.

hi @mistriTsquirrel

I agree, I had a perfectly nice thread going about ideas for a Halloween costume party that I will be attending......poof, there it went....
