Hello Lindsays Grandma..........I will start looking to see about posts being edited......I just posted I was not aware this was happening and I sure don't know how someone could do that. I know they can ignore for ever and a day. Well, I am getting hungry and I am making a list of things to talk to my green therapist about.........I hope you have a great evening.

Just proved you can edit others posts, I purposely mucked around with 3R's post to see if i could be done

Don't worry about it.

Some of these posters don't have a clue what it means if an when an edit shows up in a post.

All it means is that someone hit the report inappropriate button which alerts the moderator. For some reason it shows up as ""edited"" but it doesn't mean that posters actually have the power to edit you. Some people edit their own posts which also can show as edited.

What xox is doing is quoting your post and then going into your quote an adding a word.

You can edit when you quote someone's post, but only in your own post, it doesn't change the words in the original posting. This place has always been that way, and I recall many heated discussions about how wrong it is to modify a quoted post.

If someone reports a post, the system puts an "edited" comment, I suppose it's used as a marker for the webbie to open the post. There is no way to know who reported a post or even why. There has been plenty of speculation and blame tossing though.

I was proving that you CAN change others posts. There is a huge quirk in the software to even allow this to happen

You edited a quote, not an actual post which is really a no-no.

RRR: That 'green' was probably a mistake. Nothing derogatory, for sure. I'm sure that there are plenty of nice folks/friends in your town. Your local community center probably offers all kinds of art classes, interesting classes where you will meet new people. A place you can make a routine of going a couple/few times a week. Something and someone you will look forward to. The word 'community' says it all.........a wonderful place to belong, see and talk with others. Also maybe light volunteering at that community center, too. I have great hopes for you and I have a feeling that once you 'belong' within your local community, that you will feel much better about yourself and your life. And others there will appreciate you, too!
