Shouldn't the Posts be Dated?

It just seems odd that the posts are listed as "an hour ago," or "Tuesday.' Shouldn't there be dates on the posts so we will know when we are running into an old post or thread? Maybe I'm just overlooking it somehow.

Absolutely!  Yes!  A huge oversight!

@LilacTree, @Madisson, @CalMom, @luvsbulldogs:

To change the time on posts to actual dates and times, do this:

Go to My Preferences.  Then Display.

About halfway down, you'll see Use relative dates.  Uncheck that box.

Scroll down until you see the SAVE button.  Click it.

Now, date and time will be shown on posts.

This entire new web design has way too many oversights.  Very sloppy work. At least they fixed it since last week when the website was distorted if you used windows.

I agree!!!  There is a thread in the Suggestion Forum about the same thing.  Perhaps if everyone posts about it they might bring it back.

Re: Shouldn't the Posts be Dated?

Madisson:  I was just about to post the same message when I saw yours.  I have been looking in vain for a date on each post and was about to ask other posters for help.  This new forum is a mish-mash and I just cannot imagine why QVC would think that this is better or easier.  Although QVC IT folks probably live and breathe this stuff and think it is super easy, they need to remember that some folks are just not experts.  A few weeks ago they changed the format of their web page, definitely NOT for the better, and now they have done the same thing with these forums.  Why do they think that posters want to spend so much more time searching and having to dig to find the smallest thing?  MAKE IT EASY, QVC, and don't waste our time.

You can adjust your settings to get the actual date & time.

Go into your preferences and then "Display Settings".

*Uncheck* the box that says "Use relative dates" and you should get actual date & time.    Be sure to "save" at bottom of page.

ETA:   I see nomless explained how to make the change, above.   Thanks!

You know, I think it's kind of nice to find ONE online place where the default assumes I'm a woman. If you don't want a female avatar, go into My Settings and choose the male avatar.
