Should our President be attractive?

I am not singling out one party or the other. I am not singling out a particular candidate.

I am aware that there are more important skills/qualifications for leading our country.

Do you think the POTUS should be reasonably attractive?

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

Physically is nice, but I could deal with one that had a brain instead of pecks.

i would never vote for anyone that was butt ugly.

i think being attractive helps and yes i would prefer an attractive president.

I think it is extremely beneficial for a candidate to be attractive, the more telegenic they are the better, it is a subconscious thing. People are drawn to the handsome and beautiful. Is it important for the president to be attractive physically? I don't think it matters.

I've had the same question myself, and then shamed myself for being so stupidly shallow. As long as a person is well groomed and well dressed, appearance doesn't matter. That said--there are a couple candidates I would not want to look at for the next 4 years. May the best man/woman win.
