Hi all,
I have a 10 year old cat, Macy, that has been peeing outside her litter box for a year now. I've taken her to the vet 4 times. It's NOT a medical condition. She is mad that we got a dog. (The dog loves cats & is nice to her.)
Now, Macy has started to leave poo around the house! I'm thinking that's the last straw. I want to put her outside for good. We live in a quite, upscale neighborhood & have a fenced yard. Macy still has her claws. She loves to go outside, but only for an hour or so, then begs to come in. I'm seriously thinking about keeping her outside all the time now.She is ruining our beautiful home!
She has always been a grumpy cat - hisses whenever my other cats or dog come near her. In truth, she hisses all the time. She's just grumpy and always has been.
What would you do?
