Just wondering how you are feeling today and if you got any sleep last night. Hope you feel a lot better today and that you get into a pain clinic that you like soon!!

Thank you. I answered on the long post but it got deleted (I assume due to arguing) so I wont go into the whole story again. But yes I got sleep in bed. (Yay!). I went to bed early and asked my husband to wake me before he had to leave for work in case I needed help getting up. I slept 6.5 hours. I did have pain when I got up but he helped me up. Still have some pain now not as much. (because I took the other med for break thru pain as explained in the other post). And I go the a new pain Dr in 2 weeks. I hope they will be on the up and up. I had 4 or 5 to choose from within 45 mins away (with our insurance).

Irshgrl, I was trying to find it as well, so thanks for this thread to find out. Shorty2U, glad to hear you got some much needed rest.

I do really hope you like your new pain doctor and glad to hear you are going relatively soon. Please let us know how your appointment went.

Yes, Shorty2, so glad the meds worked and gave you some relief. And sleep!

You are fortunate to get in with your new Pain Team so quickly. Please let us know what you think of them after your appointment. I'm confident they'll be responsive to your needs...

Thank you. I am feeling a bit better (not perfect) but I see the pain team next week. By the way the new meds didn't work well and I went back to my old meds. The oxys are the very lowest doses so that's probably why? I don't know but it also made me very nervous taking them but I gave them a chance for a few days.

I think what may have helped me the most was the steroid pack which Im just coming down off. (It starts high and then you taper right off within a week). So I hope my back holds till I see the pain team. I am taking it very easy and not doing much, just resting. But yes I have been sleeping well. Thanks.

Hey Shorty, glad you are feeling a bit better. Too bad the new pain meds didn't work for you. It's good you got in to see the new pain team so quickly... next week. I hope they really help you. In the meantime, keep resting and taking it easy.
