Every week I seem to get mail from companies wanting to buy my house; cash, quick closes, etc. Found out from some neighbors most of this mail is generated by foreign groups who are buying up properties to make a boatload of money from listing on Airbnb, Vrbo, etc. 

I guess I must be the only. person here who is having this happen to them from the posts I have seen. Maybe it is because I am in a very hot housing market with ongoing development.

If you go on a site like Realtor.com, etc. you may be surprised how many houses in your own area are available to rent; just a year ago I don't think any houses in my area were rentals other than the four that have had tenants or years.
