Well if more people are washing their hands frequently and using hand sanitizer and even wearing masks, the world will be better off! Or at least less germ infested maybe.

In the past two days, I haven't seen anyone wearing a mask, although my state went from 0 - 2 cases. (Small state)
If more people are aware of handwashing and hand sanitizers, I'm all for that. It will help stop the spread of any contagious illnesses

Coming back from the shopping center, I saw 3 high school students wearing masks.
And the numbers keep growing: 9 deaths so far. The fear is real here.
I had a few small containers on hand and couldn't find more locally. Ordered some online from Bath and Bodyworks and Walmart.com. Should get them before I use up my stash.

I went for my normal doctor checkup and there was one woman wearing a mask.....I wasnt being nosey you just couldnt help but hear the conversation they had with the receptionist......the woman was accompanied by her husband....she said the mask was for precaution, she is healthy....and the husband said he had a lung condition, which is supposed to be an "at risk" category....and he said here is my mask and it was in his pant's pocket---his was more of a substntial mask but he said he chose not to wear it...Go figure.....

Tomorrow is my shopping day. Just the basic groceries and a restaurant meal. On to the library and then home. I will use my hand sanitizer as I leave each place as a precaution.

Now this is actually a bit humorous....Im an NBA Spurs fan, and the NBA said to combat the coronavirus instead of players high-fiving they will just "fist bump" their teammates....SMH!!!

I hit the jackpot today. Went to Joann's to get fabric and at the checkout they had a small box of small size hand sanitizer, the kind you can hand from your belt or purse. $1 each. I think they are the last bottles in the city. I check each store I go to, and all the shelves are empty. These bottles will come in handy next week when we go to the casino.

@tansy wrote:Did you get your tp, @SeaMaiden?
@tansy Costco was out totally of TP...projected arrival for more Friday. They only had a few paper towels left. People buying mass quantities of bottled water...they did not have hardly any cases left of that either. Kleenex was wiped out too
i found the last two of packages of TP at Fred Meyers. I found some Kleenex too...but shelves were bare.
At biglots they still had some TP and paper towels....I should have bought them there as Fred Meyers prices are so high compared to Costco and Big Lots, Oh well...

Not quite sure I understand the sanctimonious attitudes displayed, but whatever.
I had a dental appointment this am and was discussing with my hygenist. She said she will take every precaution she can. When grocery shopping Sunday, she wore mittens. As an aside, it was in the 40s here on Sunday and we saw lots of guys running around the lakes in shorts and tank tops--not exactly mitten weather.
Then this afternoon I saw a Harvard scientist/epidemiologist on tv. He predicts a pandemic where 40-70% of the population worldwide will contract the coronavirus with many, many thousands dying.
It's really a personal decision (currently) how we react to this virus. If you want to go lick doorknobs, have at it.
