I think this has been mentioned before some time ago so forgive me for repeating it but I couldn't find the post.  I realize to each her own and fashion is about what each one likes and is willing to pay to get it but $5.99 and more for shipping ?  I used to buy from shopHQ but I haven't bought anything in several years. I see that  shipping has  increased from 4.99 which was the highest shipping cost of all 3 channels QVC, HSN and ShopHQ.  For me it's not worth paying 5.99 to ship so I will only shop QVC and HSN. Obviously it hasn't affected their sales. JMO

HSN has some boots that ship for over $12.

Their shipping is outrageous!!, check their rates for shipping jewelry especially pricier items.  I only order from HSN and only when their is free shipping, it has come down to that for me.

With prices going up everywhere you still should receive some perks especially from shipping.  Check out Nordstrom.  THEY have clothes from $ TO $$$.  I always find tops from less than $25 and I get free shipping.

I totally agree. Apparel is sometimes up to 11.99 and the same for jewelry. Below is just one ring and they want $10 to ship. 

Several times I put 3 or 4 items in my cart and then realize the shipping is $20-$30 so I don't complete the purchase. On rare occasions ShopHQ will send me a 20% coupon but it never covers the cost of shipping. In addition, people complain about QVC shipping times but in my experience ShopHQ takes much longer.

It's a mystery to me why anyone still shops there with the high shipping, unfair CS policies and general unethical practices, I stay far away from them.  At one time, when they sold Renato Watches, I spent thousands there.  Somehow they continue to hang on; they're not even on any of my TV sources.

As @Kachina624 mentioned, you must be careful with your purchases at ShopHQ. They have charged more for state tax than is required and it takes months for them to give back your money.

I have to say, and feel free to disagree, that if I ship something to family/friends, it is far more that what QVC/HSN charges for shipping. Maybe because I ship UPS or ship Priority USPS; don't know.  I expect a heavy item to cost more than $5 to ship. Plus, I have to purchase a box as well and then filler plus insurance if damaged or lost ....those are part of the cost as well.

ShopHQ jewelry arrives in 2 days; the more expensive shipping is why plus it covers insurance. I've had 1 item stolen somewhere in transit from ShopHQ to my house and they immediately sent out another necklace; if I sent something that expensive, I would be paying far more for 2 day shipping UPS PLUS insurance as it was well over $75.

If I have a bunch of things I want to order, I load them in my cart and wait for a free shipping day (which is about once a month with HSN). I don't load my cart with jewelry (I WISH) at ShopHQ so I wait for the best price on the item knowing shipping will be $10 or so.

Yes, I've found that their Gold and Gems can be costly to ship.  They do insure these items.

Can't be worse than any other shopping network, especially QVC @Kachina624 .  All of these networks have their problems.  The only one I'm dying to shop at is the Gem Network Channel.  I won't even presume to know what their shipping fees are.
