@Pearlee think of this as strictly a fashion statement!

@SunValley  Easy for you to say!

No can do.

My gripe is muscle shirts at a business meeting. A man came to a Board of Directors meeting in a muscle shirt, may not have been so bad but he wanted to speak and kept raising his arms. To me it was totally inappropriate even though he was otherwise clean and well groomed.

As far as construction workers and lawn service employees, I would think it would be a safety issue to be topless. The men who do the lawn where I live wear long sleeves even on hottest of days. Imagine has to do with protection from the sun.

I work in my yard a lot, and I look pretty rough when I do. I am fully clothed, including a sport bra under my shirt, but I still look bad. Nonetheless, my neighbors continually stop at my house and their comments are always about how hard I work, not what I look like.  However, I would not go anywhere outside my yard looking like that. It's not class; it's just good sense and some people don't have any!

This whole conversation reminds me of a funny story. An elderly man came to the breakfast table each morning shirtless. No matter what his wife said to him he refused to put on a shirt. Finally, one morning, his elderly wife came to the breakfast table in just her bra. He got up from the table and returned wearing a shirt, and from that moment on they both were happy.

And...

Are you saying you can't find a non-Jewish man appealing or attractive...?

Re: Shirtless Men

[ Edited ]

Many men (and just as many women...) do not have the body to be strolling around wearing what some of them wear... or don't wear. When they do, however, have the body for it, I'm down with it... Of course, there are times and places where covering up should go without saying...

Of course, not everyone of either gender is a raving beauty and that doesn't mean that sometimes comfort isn't going to be the primary concern.

I don't even like men in tank tops so shirtless is a big NO for me.

Add muscle T-shirts to that list.

Especially when there are no muscles to go with the shirt!
