I just checked tracking on something - it is in Jacksonville , Florida. There is a message thar severe weather is hampering the delivery of my product. There is no severe weather in Jacksonville, Fl. that I am aware of.

I'm waiting for something that I need for Sunday and should have been here Monday.
If I don't have it by tomorrow I will either refuse it or send it back.

If the package has to pass through parts of the country affected by the snowstorm, that will delay deliveries. The only thing QVC has control over is how long they take to process the item.

@Bri36 I disagree - we pay pretty much for S&H and they have total control over what service they pay to ship to us. Clearly, they go for the bargain basement shipping service, and pocket the difference between what we pay for & the cost to them as profit.
Also, as I stated - my package is in Jacksonville, Fl. -- no storms down here.

Not only does it show item is In Process but after it is shipped tracking information is unavailable.

I'm rarely in a big hurry to get anything, so I don't really pay attention to how long it takes.
What's been bothering me lately is the ridiculous packaging! I got a very thin, lightweight Susan Graver rain jacket in a box that could have held probaby 7 or 8 of those jackets. I ordered 5 pairs of Denim & Co. Crop Pants all on the same day and all on the same order, and they are in 3 different envelopes. It's nuts! They could have put all those pants in a box, and the rain jacket in one of those envelopes.

When QVC institutes a rating system that penalizes itself by getting packages out late, (standard to be determined), or provides us with a star system that lets us ding them for excessive shipping, then there would be a fair comparison between the shopping venues. Otherwise, not.
QVC runs the way it does because it works for them. Until they lose sales consistently because they're slow to get goods into carriers' hands and/or their shipping charges are viewed as unreasonable, they have no incentive to change and will carry on as they're doing.
eBay sellers who are downgraded enough in ratings can be NARU'd, ending their ability to sell there, something most sellers are acutely aware of.
Big difference.

ORDERED A ITEM 6/27 STILL WAITING,ORDERED FROM AMAZON RECIEVED IN TWO DAYS,GO FIGURE.

There is a simple solution to the problem; if QVC takes too long to ship items and Amazon ships quickly, do not order from QVC.
Or, if you simply must order from QVC, be prepared for a 2 week wait. If the item arrives sooner, you will be pleasantly surprised.
