By the time I pay S&H, I might as well buy an item at the local box store. Box stores allow returns. Also if I pay about $6.99 to ship to me and then pay another $6.99 to return an item, it has actually cost about $14 to try an item to see if I like it. Often the value or qvc savings is absorbed by S&H. One really has to pay attention to a particular item to determine if there really is value beyond choice.

I agree. Qvc needs to think clearly about giving more free shipping and handling or else I fear they will not do well this year. That Oscar show was a joke. Three hours and only 2 items sold out? That was a three hour comedy show for sure.

If you return an item, your original shipping if refunded. But yes, online, TV and catalog shopping can be expensive.

I agree it's cheaper to buy local if you're looking to try something. The q also credits you for original shipping. You just pay return shipping by the q label or a carrier of your choice.

Isn't the reimbursement of return shipping conditional?
