Re: Shipping And Bath & Bodyworks

Thanks for the info on the soap sale.

I just placed a substantial order, several soaps and a few shower gels, on my iPad, from the comfort of my bed while watching tv.  Happy to pay the $5.99 shipping for someone else to be responsible for getting it all here.

Re: Shipping And Bath & Bodyworks

If anyone is looking for a new soap fragrance, about a month ago my sister gave me a bottle of Black Cherry Merlot, in the gel soap.  To be honest, when she gave it to me it didn't sound appealing at all, but I just started using it a few days ago and I love it.

I ordered more of it last night, this time the foaming soap.

Re: Shipping And Bath & Bodyworks

Ladies, I've gotten BBW coupons in the mail 2X since this virus thing started.  Just got one last week for some free stuff and 20% off.

At the very beginning of the virus lockdown, I had coupons and the website was having a Buy 3/Get 3 Free sale.  I kind of went nuts and ordered enough shower gels and lotions to get me thru several months.  In fact, I'll finish my last shower gel next week.  Eek!  I'd better order more!

We no longer have any of their stores in malls because almost all of the malls are gone. There is a BBW store a couple of miles from me that is freestanding. I don’t ever pay for their shipping. I do buy online when they do free shipping, which doesn't seem to happen very often anymore.  You pay everything you save on the sales when they charge for shipping. I like their handsoaps, but have been refilling them when empty with some great creamy Soft Soap with aloe I found at WM a couple of months ago. It is a 50 oz bottle for $3.78. Do the math. I finally went into the BBW store a couple of days ago and bought 6 new ones so we can use them up and have the bottles to refill. Their pumps are the best and don’t break like drugstore brands. The first BBW soap I have had in over six months. I have seen refill sizes of some liquid soaps at WM but still no small sizes to use by the sink anywhere like the grocery store or drugstore. I had a stash of liquid soap before March so we have been living large!

I went to the mall today, I haven't been since before the pandemic. They use to have the mall entrances unlocked  for mall walkers, now they don't open it until 10:00. The mall was a ghost town. I was able to buy what I wanted, the store was empty.

Re: Shipping And Bath & Bodyworks

I went to Bath & Body works yesterday with my coupons I got in the mail, they expire either November 3 or 7. I told my sister about the sale, I asked if she had coupons she said yes. Anyway when she went to pay she discovered they were older coupons that had expired, she didn't get the ones I had. She was told by the cashier coupons are sent out but often are kept by those that work in the post office! She was told to call headquarters to complain.

Re: Shipping And Bath & Bodyworks

@gidgetgh I love their Black Cherry Merlot soap. I really enjoy the fall and winter scents more. I prefer the nourishing soaps and they have a limited amount of scents in those soaps. I live about 5 minutes from a Bath and Bodyworks. I usually go into the store but have been ordering a few things online since pandemic. They recently had body lotions for $4.95 and I discovered my email late one night. Ordered 5 scents online and paid shipping. Forever Red was included in the sale and it's my favorite. I rarely drive at night due to lousy night vision.

Count me as another who gladly pays the shipping fee for their hand soaps.

Re: Shipping And Bath & Bodyworks

I don't buy the Bath and Bodyworks 3 wick candles online anymore. When I went on a splurge during an online sale a year ago or so, 2 of my candles arrived with broken glass holders even though they seemed to be well packed.

Love the foaming hand soaps and never had a problem with their shipping, though I've usually bought them in the store. They're great for a little aromatherapy pickmeup. Putting out their Christmas hand soaps was a mini tradition around here. Not sure if I will this year, don't really care to go into their store. Maybe I'll go online and get some tried and true ones I've already used. Just for my own holiday morale.
