I have a pair of sheets that I have used for 6 years or maybe even longer..........and they feel so great on my bed..........what is the longest you have enjoyed using a sheet set? I hope these last another 5 years..........Happiness to all and enjoy your weekend.

I have a set that is down to a couple of pillowcases that was given to me as a ""shower gift"" in the 70's. They are so soft and wonderful I have never ever found a set like them. So I guess it can't really be considered a set anymore.

I love the soft in sheets.

Six-year-old sheets are barely broken in. I only gave away my ancient queen sheets because I bought a king bed.

While I know that most folks like soft sheets I prefer cool, crispy ones. One can hardly find them anymore and if you do...they cost an arm and a leg.

I have had sheets that I purchased and used regularly for over a decade at a time, but that was back in the 80's and 90's. Most of those were from JC Penney, back in the day when they marketed wonderful quality linens. Today, it is nearly impossible to find linens that last more than a few years. If the material is good and strong, they use cheap elastic, or the other way around.

My mom still has sheets for twin beds that we used since the early 1970's (although they get used just for guest beds now) that are still going strong. Nothing was ever stronger than those good old percale sheets.

I think that's what my sheets were that I mentioned above. Do they even make those anymore? I have never found any sheets to compare to those at any price.

I remember when the least expensive bed linens were made of muslin. They never really got much softer with many washings.

I have had to get new micro-fleece sheets every year...they seem to pill.

My 100% cotton sheets I have used for at least 8 years.

I have one set of summer cotton sheets and one set of winter micro-fleece.

That's it.
