So this is what she is saying about her parents now:

Suburban baby boomer types are the spoiled lot, they make massive amount of money a year, they are used to flying to luxury destinations when they want, and buy things that they don't need, people should be inclined to see things Rachel's way.

We have been stunned by the financial greed of modern parents who are more concerned with retiring into some fantasy world rather than provide for their children's college and young adult years.

In today's economy there are no more meaningful jobs and without family help it's usually military or bust. We see parents like this every day, children were always an accessory to them and nothing more, once that accessory grew up and went out of fashion, much like a marriage that people allegedly commit to, the child becomes a throwaway, that's just how it is.

She's is stubborn also. She and her attorney are digging the hole bigger. They are well aware of the online backlash yet they decide to go a head with this statement. I am starting to think Rachel should sue for incompetent (sic) council.

Just finished reading the court docs and the depositions. The parents depositions show some serious lack of parenting skills and bad judgements, IMO.

One example, they admit they knew the Inglesino family allowed & provided alcohol to their underage kids and friends including Rachel, yet they continued to let her associate with them, repeatedly.

There's plenty of responsibility to go around with all the dysfunctional people involved.

Rachel from NJ went on a facebook rant against her parent's generation, making digs about suburban dwellers. This girl needs help, quick, fast and in a hurry!

JaneMarple, I have no idea whom you are talking about, and don't want to read 143 comments to try to find out. Please tell us upfront! Thanks.

Exactly but that sure doesn't stop some people. Unbelievable!

Her parents don't owe her anything at age 18. She did not abide by the house rules. She can work, take out loans or attend a community college first.

I wonder why she is allowed to waste the courts time, I would love to see her go before Judge Judy!

I know the area she lives in and its quite affluent .. I have two teenage daughters. I feel so sorry for her mother who looked so broken up in court .. and the dad. She said some horrible things on Facebook. I will say it again a spoiled brat!
