Her own Lawyer should be very angry about the post because it WILL NOT help her case next month.

Rachel has control over the page, she can delete the post. The link straykatz provided says, it was posted sometime around 7:00 this morning...she could have deleted it before she went to class. Why would she or a spokesperson go on a rant KNOWING full well she is going back to court in late April. It was a childish move and it might cost her.

I had a lot of empathy for her when I saw her being tried by the court of public opinion without all the facts in. Now, I want to know more about the drinking in her family and how dysfunctional it really was. She sounds like some of the kids I used to help during an Alanon meeting just for teens and young adults. A lot of them had no guidance on how to behave and the stories of dad and mom feeding them alcohol were often told. I think her father sounds like he was drinking and mom left. There is little known about what kind of parents they really were. The daughter's behavior is indicative of a kid who is out for blood. She wants to be vindicated because she think they stunk at being parents. I have seen it before in kids with parents that have drinking problems. She is a classic case...

The two lawyers involved in this circus ought to be disbarred. This entire scenario could have been handled with arbitration and not by tying up the justice system with this debauchery.

This girl's life will never be the same.....

She may have a good grade point average but she has no common sense. I think she is a huge narcissist and probably has a personality disorder.

serenity4ever, the "problem" with her parents is, they DID NOT allow her to drink. She wanted an 18th birthday party..complete with alcohol and they said, NO. She's been caught drunk at school, drunk at her friends house (where she now resides) and other places. Go read the court documents, not just the links/articles provided.

She feels entitled and privileged and I agree about the narcissistic behavior.

She claimed her father was inappropriate with her and he used to drink with her. She woke up disoriented and he wanted to play beer pong. It's common for drunks to forget anything they do the night before. This could be a classic case of her father being a role model for her behavior. In addition I need more information about her parents and why they split.

What I am saying is I don't think I have the whole story and until I do, I am not going to place complete blame on Rachael. Whatever does happen though, that child will never be the same again. The parents are clearly not interested in her welfare, otherwise they would have done something about it months ago. For myself there is blame on both sides but the daughter will suffer the most.
