A parent does not OWE a child a college education. They owe her a roof over her head and food on the table until she is 18. If she wants to go to college she can find a way thru student loans and/or working. Why isn't it a good thing for her to make her way in life once she is an adult?

The same article straykatz posted, it reveals that she has a problem with alcohol and tantrums.

The dear darling child also states that if she doesn't have money for college (sniff), she will have to enroll in the military.

Gosh forbid she gets a full time (gasp) job and go to a community college part time.

She claims to not be emancipated, but the fact she refuses to go back to her parent's home and live by the rules may encourage a judge to go right ahead and declare her legally emancipated. If this happens, she will be responsible for herself.

She's walking a tightrope here. She can't have it both ways.
