Love Love Love mine.  I have two and one in waiting.  I was going to let you know it's on sale at Amz for "under $100" (it's $99.99).  However, I checked QVC and they are cheaper, by 1 penny.  Are they finally catching on? (g).  This is the price I paid for mine a few years ago but I found one in WM for 70something so I bought it as a backup.  It's still in the box as the handvacs are still going strong. The Q calls it a "pet" version, but I'm not seeing a difference.

I love it too.  I'm on my second one - first one only lasted a few years.  It so handy.

@FranandZoe   Guy Yovan on HSN sold me this great little machine before Christmas, 2023.

Like you, it lasted until about a month ago.  I believe I paid $79.00.

I was disappointed it stopped working in what I thought was a very short time.

Is that the normal duration of the Shark cordless hand vac?  Thanks!

Not normal for me.  Amz says I bought my first one in Oct of 2021.  It's still working.  You've got to clean the filter.  I don't know when I purchased my 2nd one but it wasn't Amz.   Maybe eBay.

@monicakm   I did clean the filter.  A few months ago it started working for shorter periods of time until it just stopped altogether.  I thought its demise was premature.  Maybe I should have called Shark?

I like my Shark wand vac but HATE to clean the filter. They could have come

up with something better than that!

@monicakm @pdlinda I cleaned the filter a lot - no choice because I used it a lot.  And like all Sharks if you don't keep it clean it shuts down.

Mine stopped holding a charge for long then wouldn't charge at all.  I paid about $79 for that first one too.

I have had about four. After a few years they won't keep a charge or charge dies quickly . I have one in the garage that is difficult to close after emptying. Instead of just pushing back the lid I have to hold the as to open and force the lid shut. It still m works?

I just bought one again. $99 "Pet Version "as do like having it. This one has a increased charge button and seems to have better suction. Maybe why called "Pet Version "I think the other ones were $79. I dont find I  dont bother with the attachments.

I rarely if ever use the attachments either. I think my first one was purchased in 2021. Then probably the next year I bought another one. And have one on backup I haven't had any issues with them not holding a charge. The only time they turn off prematurely is if I haven't clean the filter. Anyone with cats or dogs in their house really needs one of these. The heathen dingo lets me vacuum him with it 😁
