So, I would like to vent a little today. A gal that I know only slightly asked me to e-mail her some information. She said as she wrote down her address...well, it's my husband's e-mail but we share our address. I said you don't have your own e-mail address? At which time she went into this 5 minute dissertation about why she did not have her own e-mail.
Actually, I thought if you are too lazy to get your own e-mail...I'm too lazy to e-mail your husband. I was irritated because we both had access to the information asked for....she just didn't keep it. Then when she went in to this 5 minute explanation about how busy she was and how she couldn't remember her own address...etc., etc., and how she hadn't kept the asked for info. She made me tired just listening to her! Through her husband's e-mail address into my trash bag in the car.
If you are going to tell me I'm a rude snot...you won't hurt my feelings...as I already know that.

I wouldn't care if she shared an email address with her husband, but I would not want to hear how busy she is (everyone is busy doing what they choose to do) and all those other petty excuses.

I do not understand how anyone can share an email address.

I agree about being more annoyed about the "busy" speech than the shared email address. If she asks you again for the information, tell her you were so busy you forgot.

Well, you are not a rude snot (
), but don't agree with you. Every one has some sort of annoying quirk, and this is her's.
I think, back in the day, when email was new, lots of couples shared. Some never got away from it.

I share an email with my husband, but we each have our own too.

My husband and I have shared an email address since we got our first computer. I don't understand what the problem is in sharing an address? What's the big deal?

Same here. Of course, he never uses our joint one and I only check it about once a month or so.

I agree with this, but I wonder why she even mentioned it?? If it were me, I would have just given you the address, thanked you and moved on.
I also wonder if this is someone you work with and is the info work related? If it is work, I think you should give her the info. I can't stand cut throat office games. JMO

Maybe she has one and doesn't want to share it with you?
