Re: Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Fall Weekend to All

Aviatrix, thank you for your vote of confidence. I'm not particularly worried--yet--but that could change on a dime.

So many crazy things going on in the world these days. I think we could all use some tranquility and serenity. I hope we can all find it. xox

Shabott Shalom all

Rough day here it started with a call from my Dad at 7am, my Mom had rolled out of bed, spent from 715 to 9 30 at my folks an then from 9 45 to 2 at the hospital.

My 90 year old Mom is very ill, apparently in the last few days she developed pneunomia, and had an apparent heart attack and has kidney issues. This has hit us all for a loop.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

oxox... my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know how hard it is. I took care of my ailing father before he passed away. It is so hard to watch our parents suffer. Be strong and have faith... you are not alone.

Re: Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Fall Weekend to All

My Mom passed away at 130 Saturday, and because it was Shabbos we could not make arrangements. My brother is not happy with the the final resting place in NJ so he will be contacting the same place my uncle is burried.

As if it was meant to be when we were parked at my dads apt, we ran into my first cousin and his family, his mom lives in the same building as my dad, his daughter is a rabbi and he from SF for the weekend and there is a possibility she can preform the service, they say things happen for a reason and I truly believe it was bershert (destiny) to see them.
