Re: Severe turbulence on another flight

I hate turbulence, even a little, and get sick pretty easily. I always take some ginger tablets or Bonine when flying. Took a rough flight in a very small plane and complained to the fight attendant when getting off the plane even though I knew it was ridiculous to do that! She was the only one who would listen. LOL....

I'm sorry for everyone here who has experienced severe turbulence or a sudden drop. As for the sudden drop, I would just probably have a heart attack if it happened to me.

Re: Severe turbulence on another flight

I was on a flight from Chicago to Frankfurt in 1999 that hit heavy turbulence just as we started out over the Atlantic from Canada. Fortunately, everyone sat down before the plane suddenly fell several thousand feet (I was watching our altitude on the flight status screen.) Had everyone not been seated, I am sure someone would have been seriously injured or worse from impacting the cabin ceiling. As it was, they couldn't get the drink cart out fast enough after that - EVERYONE wanted a drink!
