Severe cold and bronchitis !

I got a severe cold and bronchitis in early Dec and it took me almost 3 weeks before I felt ok. I was Rx'd the Z Pac ( antibiotic ). Where I live in western NC, it seems this bronchitis/ severe cold is running rampant. I know so many people who have it or are getting over it. This really isn't " the flu " per se. I flew to Florida in early Dec and developed this 3 days later while in Florida. Was sick the entire 2 weeks I was there. Has anyone gotten a cold and bronchitis that seems to be very intense?
