Did anyone see this show last night (1/26)? The featured child had a tiny dog, apparently using it as a "prop" for her horrible pageant experience.
It was obvious that the dog was being maltreated, once when the child dropped or threw the poor little animal into a folding chair, and at another time when the father said the dog was forgotten and left locked in a car. The little girl, I think she was three, showed absolutely no sign of awareness that the dog was a living creature, much less even being old enough to have any concern for the dog's welfare.
ALSO, a darling tiny puppy was to be "awarded" as a prize to one of the winners of the competition.
Does the ASPCA have a group who watches this type of show?
This was possibly the most troubling part of the show to me.
