13 Coins in SeaTac is such a great restaurant. At least it used to be, haven't been there in years. There, sitting where you can see the kitchen is totally different. It has the bar there so you can enjoy watching the cooks. That's a lot different than seeing into the entire kitchen where they are washing dishes and everything else that goes on.

My #1 pet peeve is I really dislike being sat in busy areas with a lot of activity and traffic back and forth. I don't mind an open kitchen concept. If the server doesn't disappear it is a huge plus, most of the them go MIA when we are ready to leave!!!

I have no problem asking for a different table if I'm seated by the restroom, kitchen or a large party. Eatting out is too expensive to have to settle.
