Concerning Sherman....much ado about nothing!

This is a alpha-male sport....Sherman was just pumped up. I'm sure Crabtree said some serious trash to him, Sherman was still high off his amazing play- thats it. Seattle handles themselves with class, normally. No big deal.

ITA! Wish the media had shown his locker room interview that night, as much as they have shown the interview on the sideline. He is an articulate, intelligent and talented player who was so high coming off the great play and end of a really rough and hard fought game on both sides. He graduated a year early from Stanford, major was communications (!) and during that final 4th year he began his Masters. Did you know he started a charity in Seattle for low income kids and has raised $100 million so far? GO HAWKS!

He was fined for unsportsmanlike conduct during the game, and Coach Pete Carroll spoke with him after that outburst asking him if that was really the image he wanted to portray for Seattle and for the team. It was after that when he apologized. I'm still not impressed. I keep seeing that screwed up, angry face yelling at some anonymous "you" and making some kind of bragging threat. Hope he has enjoyed all the attention he took away from the team victory. NO "I" in team.

I believe he's well liked by his team and am more than willing to give him a second chance. The fine was relatively small for taunting--the choke gesture he sent the opposing QB.

I'm with tansy. It was an emotional moment and he genuinely seems to be trying to make up for it. Who hasn't done something they regret? Unfortunately for Richard, his happened when the world was watching.

My suggestion to Richard is to stay away from the microphones after the SuperBowl regardless of the outcome. I'd rather hear from Russell Wilson. What a cutie pie.

I'm still afraid to watch this game too closely. If I want them to win too badly, that will jinx it. I may just have it on in the other room and walk by once in a while.

RainCityGirl don't be afraid too watch the game you are not going to jinx it.

I have been a Sea Hawk since the very first game. Friends of mine always know if there is a Sea Hawk game on don't call because I am nor going to answer my phone and neither is my DH.

So with that said best of luck to the Broncos may the best team win which of course as we all know is the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS.

GO HAWKS!!!

It's been such a fun day here! Everyone is having such a good time enjoying all of the Super Bowl hoopla! I found some really fun Seahawk items at Bartell's today. Smiley Happy

I don't usually care either way, but Russell Wilson was QB here at UW Wisconsin. And he is a nice young man. So I would like for him and his team to win.
