I have to ask...

Do people think it's fair that Seattle is refusing to sell game tickets to people in California?

Hi Noel, JMO, but I don't think it's fair. I hear that this is an acceptable practice in the NFL, but in this circumstance where the teams are geographically close, I think the SF fans should be able to purchase tickets. I'm sure that many SF fans would come up here for the game if they could.

Thank you for your response, Seattlegirl Smile

I hadn't heard of the practice until recently. It seems unbelievably unfair to me and I'm actually surprised by Seattle. I love Seattle and it's usually considered a liberal city, much like San Francisco.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow, good luck to all {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

ps We have a close friend in Hawaii. Her parents were such 49er fans and the whole family got into it.

Anyway, she's buying tickets for everyone in her Bay Area family that wants to be in Seattle tomorrow Smile

SF fans can buy all the tickets they want for the game. They just have to buy thru a secondary market. FYI...I don't think it is right either!

Do you mean buying from people that buy them up and then sell them for an outlandish price? Scalpers?

Other than that, I wouldn't know what you mean, and apparently most others don't either, because this is a big story on the news in the Bay Area.
