Well, now we've been hit at work. We store scrap metal at our shop, and normally have companies come and pick it up when the bins are full. Apparently, the property was "cased," and the thieves came and took their time, taking copper and bronze items and leaving the steel and aluminium. They even picked up heavy lengths of pipe to look underneath, we think, for copper piping. The police said they can't keep up with the reports of these thefts, but logged in our complaint as a larceny all the same.
