I've mentioned in the past that I like ordering food from Schwans, but their customer service is bad. Now they changed my delivery day and time to something that won't work for me. In a letter announcing this change, they provided a number to call.  I left three messages and finally called their regular number. I'm told their timeline to respond is 24 to 48 business hours.  At first I didn't catch the meaning.  Basically, they give themselves 3 to 6 days to respond. My delivery date will have passed by the time they get back to me. I just said thank you and hung up.

https://www.facebook.com/schwans/

I know some of you here are not into Facebook, but sometimes it's a really good way to contact a company.  Schawns has a message tab,  I would try there,

Our Schwan's delivery date and time were also changed, but it was at a time that was convenient for us.  The facebook message sounds like a good idea if you are able.  We were told that the change was due to a "consolidation of delivery options".  Since we now have a new delivery person, I'm guessing that our old delivery person lost their job.  Best of luck with your delivery date changes.

@AuntG, I know people who have had the same driver for years who provide them with excellent service. I also know people who complain of a constant turnover of drivers and deliveries not made at times they were told. I hope things work out for you. I like their food and convenience of home delivery.

omg ,  I was hounded by Schwans.I loved my delivery but they hounded me so much i had to quit!

I tried a few times to begin deliveries all over again, only to be hounded again by their salesmen.

One day ,it just happened my GS (a cop) was passing by my  house when they were at my door and saw me trying to explain that i was a happy customer and did not need anything extra...lol

That was  the end of my Schwans delivery...lol.............

now I order from MAGIC KITCHEN  <3  with no problems ever ,3 yrs ,rain ,sleet ,snow and hail deliveries always on time even though they are on the other side of the USA <3

i am never "hounded" by our schwans driver, but i see why some feel like they do.....they are on commission and it is a tough business. that is why there is such a high turnover. our day got switched from a thursday to a monday. he gave me his cell phone number so if i am not at home when he gets there, then i can call him and he will come later. i can order one item or 20 items.....it really depends on my freezer space or if i am having extra guests.

i can order at the door or pre-order by phone or online. they will leave your items at your doorstep in freezer bags if you are not going to be home for a while.

have been buying items from them for well over 20 years. they are great about taking items back for a full refund, even items that you have eaten. our driver generally tells us to keep the product and he gives me a credit right away.

My wife use to buy from Schwans as one of her co-workers husband worked on our route. They changed so often my wife decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I personally didn't eat the things she bought, so really not much I can say regarding their products.

My wife has much more patience than I do when it comes to businesses not responding to my calls or messages. To me, there are enough companies that if I am not a happy customer, I waste no time telling them. If not to my satisfaction, they've lost my business.

Anyone that doesn't have time to return my phone calls, businesses/friends or associates, I don't have time for anything to do with them. When companies are good, I tell them, I am not singular when it comes to doing business. Some only complain, others compliment jobs well done also.

@sandraskates

is it red baron pizza?

yes, schwans is a supplier/manufacturer of some brands that you can find in the grocery store AND of restaurant and fast food items found at your favorite places.
