Why do some posters here constantly make derogatory comments about the intelligence and/or education of other posters? Rude and completely inappropriate.

@Carmie - Choosing to be unvaccinated and not having a card, is very different from someone getting a fake card and pretending to be vaccinated.

No one said being fully vaccinated was 100% protection. No vaccine offers 100% protection. Vaccines are intended to hopefully prevent infection, or at least lessen the degree of illness, if you become infected.

We will have to disagree on your last statement. I'd rather have the vaccine and a genuine vaccination card, than a rabbit's foot. (I'm sure the rabbit would prefer it that way, too.)

The vaccines are free, so there is no need to buy a fake card.

People are likely buying fake cards to flout the mandates. No one needs to go to a restaurant. Many places offer grocery delivery. Online shopping allows us to buy almost anything now and have it delivered.

If someone's job mandates a vaccine, getting a fake card endangers everyone else and is considered illegal.

@Venezia I respect your decision. You have to do what you think is right for you.

I am not comfortable with the COVID vaccines. The US Army is working on a new one and I am interested in knowing more about that one. i am not anti-vax, just anti nMRA for now.

I can always decide to get the vaccine later. My poor 13 year old grandson now has cardiac issues from the vaccine...a side effect for some kids. I think my concerns are valid.

I am compelled to do what I think is right for me. The survival rate for unvaccinated healthy people is a little over 99%. I think my odds are pretty good.
