@spumoni99 you're very kind, and I'm trying to remain optimistic that the stamps will arrive. However, it may well have been a scam. The poster who asked why I ordered from a third party would have said my explanation was lame, so I didn't answer her. It's simply that Christmas stamps sell out fast at the two post offices I use, and I thought it would be great to order a variety of Christmas stamps. I'll be more careful in the future.

Amazon has really gone downhill.  I got 2 sonicare toothbrushes recently from Costco LESS than one at Amazon.  And deliveries are all over the place, often getting pushed to the next day or longer.

I check Walmart, Sam's and Costo and sometimes Target too often before I buy from Amazon now, but darn somethings you just can't get elsewhere!

@Tinkrbl44 I'm happy to say they arrived today! The seller was USPS so it appears it was a legitimate purchase. Only problem was the zero in my street address was typed as a 9 on the label, and thus the delay. However, after all I've read about scams out here, I'm sticking to Amazon for online purchases. With all I've purchased from them, I only had two returns, which were easy.

Wow thanks for the warning.  Too many scammers out there.

I thought I was too smart - too computer savvy -  to be scammed but I was scammed in late Dec or January - saw a gorgeous heart wreath on FB and ordered it without thinking or doing research.  It was a scam apparently.  i never received it.  But their tracking showed it had been delivered.  Came from out of the country and then delivered by my local PO.  It wasn't though.  I even went to the PO and they checked - they never received the package.  Paypal wouldn't even help - at all - as they said the tracking showed delivered.  So I'll. never just order from FB again without really looking into who it is. And where they're from.

And I'll never order anything from eBay either if they're out of the country.  I have a situation there - seller says it was shipped but tracking appears to be bogus.  Hoping eBay is more helpful than PayPal.

Same with me with Paypal. Useless!

Only got past the 2nd page and a song popped into my head.  The redhead sings it.  Pappa tell me 'bout the good old days".  Not Reba, the other one, who sang it with her mother.
