He was the greatest of all time. He broke records, but he also broke barriers. I heard that he was truly a good man. Like so many have said, he is a legend.

This is sad.  What a caireer.  When I was growing up the names I remember were Willie Mays, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax and of course Vin Sculy the sports commentator.  My mom loved baseball.  I remember that Willie Mays had a guest spot on the Donna Reed show.  I do remember Donna Reed saying "Say Hey"

Saw him once in the 70's he lived in Riverdale, NY in the same building where my Dermatologist was
