DH keeps asking me what is wrong with her eyes, they seem dark and staring.  I remember she got poked in the eye(s) by her kid and had some sort of surgery.  I hope her vision is OK.

@depglass    I don't watch her much but your post intrigued me because I happened to see her one day this eek on Jeopardy.  I didn't notice anything wrong with her eyes but I did find this story.    I don't know why this surgery would have made iher eyes dark but here it is

She had surgery on her retina.  I don't think that would affect the look of her eyes, though.

I'm not a big Savannah fan, but I will say I always thought she had very pretty eyes.

I know she had eye probs and hope they're working on getting them back to normal. Not sure why her eyes should be dark but from one who's always had "bad" eyes, it's no joke to have them. Hope she's okay

Thanks for link.  The story doesn't mention getting poked in the eye, rather a cataract surgery.  One can develop them early in life, my friend did.  I had this surgery maybe 8 years ago, no complications at all.

She was on a tv show and said her young son poked her in the eye.
