Saturday Was A GOOD Day For Me

Work was good.

After work, I went o my local mall, where outside of Petco, a local kitten/cat adoption agency had set up, and was trying to adopt out some kittens. I went down and held a small gray, long-haired kitten, and she just snuggled right up under my chin. It felt so good to hold a kitten in my arms again. I wish that I could've brought her home with me.

Then later that night I went to see one of my favorite comedians. It was political humor. It felt good to laugh and just enjoy myself.

I really, really needed this day. A month ago, I had to put my cat of 15 years (and whom I had ever since he was just a few weeks old) down, and I took his passing very, very hard.

So, yeah, I really needed this day.

As I said, Saturday was a GOOD day.
